Our in-house professional, technical and management consultants have extensive experience with the wide range of roofing systems, waterproofing systems, curtain wall systems and exterior wall cladding systems typically used in North America.Our staff has successfully completed numerous projects for healthcare systems, public schools, universities, municipal, county, state, and federal facilities in metropolitan Phoenix, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, and other locations throughout the Unites States, and overseas. To best serve our client's needs, ECI offers the following consulting services for Roofing, Waterproofing, Curtain Wall Restoration, Building Restoration and Facility upgrading for single or multiple building projects:
Evaluation and Report Services
- Evaluate existing facilities or anticipated facility acquisitions
- Evaluate current conditions, perform testing, provide photographs, establish design criteria, identify required changes for existing facilities, and recommend system selections
- Provide precise construction budgeting itemized by complex, by facility, by area or by year depending on the scope of the individual project
- Infrared Testing Services:
- Instrumented thermographic survey of designated roof areas with AGA Model 750/782 imaging system
- Verification of moisture content via moisture probes or capacitance sampling
- Identification and painting of areas of moisture-laden insulation on the roof surface, as required
- Core sample analysis of roof system construction
- Thermographic and photographic documentation of wet area profiles
- Provide roof moisture survey report including:
- Summary of survey results
- Core sample summary wet area tabulations
- Value analysis
- Recommendations
- Scaled roof plan with wet area locations
Construction Documents
ECI provides comprehensive Client oriented contract documents and specifications for new facilities and repairs, maintenance, holding pattern, restoration or retrofit procedures for existing facilities. All documents are include concise computer-generated plans and installation details. Once designs, construction documents, budgets and pre-qualified contractors are approved by the client, ECI will conduct a prebid conference and provide a summary of the bids received along with recommendations after review with the appropriate contractors.
Project Management Services
ECI provides complete professional project management services after award of the contract. The services include:
- Conducting the preconstruction conference and progress meetings during construction
- Review submittals and shop drawings
- Respond to requests for information
- Conduct intermediate consultant site inspections of the project
- Assure conformance to contract documents and specifications
- Ensure cost containment through continual budget review
- Process progress payments and final inspection
- Secure and transmit to Client all guarantees, affidavits, releases, bonds and waivers
Project Inspection
ECI provides experienced field, onsite (full-time) inspectors or intermediate (part-time) inspectors for construction review, observation, quality control and problem resolution.
