CONSULTING SERVICES PROVIDED:
    Currently providing exterior wall, planter, skylight, roof, and plaza deck consulting services for the Dallas County Community     College District at the campus of Northlake Community College located in Irving, Texas. The facility is a multi-building complex     with brick masonry exterior wall systems, plaza decks, and planters over occupied space. Work at the facility is being performed     in multiple phases over multiple years. ECI has performed extensive evaluations on multiple buildings, including a visual survey of     the exterior wall system of the facility, limited excavations into both the exterior brick masonry finishes and interior finishes to     observe concealed conditions, and a review of available project documentation. Our study also included an evaluation of the     masonry wall support system and the connections between the masonry support structure and the building structural frame,     evaluation of existing skylight and concrete flatwork conditions, evaluation of plaza deck and exterior wall waterproofing, and an     evaluation of the planter systems over occupied space. ECI provided an evaluation report containing our findings, conclusions,     recommendations, and opinions of cost for repairs, as well as construction documents, construction administration and     inspection. The project included coordination with the Client, College personnel, and Subcontractors. To date, ECI has evaluated,     designed, and managed over $3,600,000 of construction value at Northlake Community College.

SOLUTIONS:
    1. Repair of observed brick masonry distress, including miscellaneous removal and replacement of brick and through-wall flashings         at all elevations of the building.
    2. Waterproofing and repair of exterior plaza decks, wall waterproofing, and support systems.
    3. Replacement of selected areas of concrete flatwork.
    4. Excavation and waterproofing of planters.
    5. Skylight waterproofing repairs.
    6. Roof system repairs extending the useful life.
